Oscar winner Sandra Bullock will pick up yet another honor at the MTV Movie Awards.
Bullock will receive the "MTV Generation Award" -- the equivalent of a lifetime achievement honor -- at the awards on June 6. She's the first woman to be given the award; past winners include Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler.
"Sandra is one of those rare individuals who is adored by our audience as both an actress and a role model," MTV general manager Stephen Friedman says. "Recognizing her remarkable talent, amazing range of films and her visceral connection to our audience around the globe, we are honored to present her with our 'MTV Generation Award.'"
Bullock pretty well swept the awards-season honors earlier this year for her role in "The Blind Side," culminating in her Oscar win for best actress. (She also completed the rare Oscar-Razzie double, "winning" the latter for "All About Steve.")
She's also nominated for three MTV Movie Awards this year -- best comedic performance and best kiss (with Ryan Reynolds) for "The Proposal" and best female performance for "The Blind Side."
